Secret bed swap scandal during MAFS Australia saw cast lie to producers about drama

Partner swap week is currently happening on MAFS Australia, but secretly behind closed doors there’s been a huge bed swap scandal. They kept this one quiet!

During partner swap week, the couples are each given a different bride or groom to spend a few days with. They move in with each other, and their partner also has someone new to live with. It grows tensions, and forces the couples to see what life with someone else could be like. Plus, they get grilled about their relationships… a lot.

This season saw Eliot and Rhi matched up. Rhi has a picture-perfect relationship with Jeff, and Eliot and Veronica are pretty doomed. Their pairing is polar opposite. But, it turns out they apparently got pretty close whilst filming together!

According to Daily Mail Australia, Rhi and Eliot shared a bed during the week. Producers swiftly found out because *allegedly* Rhi’s own partner Jeff ratted them out!

So, Jeff had been paired with Jacqui, who he agreed to sleep separately from. But then he reportedly moaned of a bad back, so “suggested they share the bed instead.”

Jeff’s justification for the move was allegedly that his wife had done the same. Daily Mail Australia reported Rhi and Eliot had apparently told producers they wouldn’t be sharing a bed, but ended up doing so anyway “because no one wanted to deal with a sore back.” How many people on the show have bad backs?!

On top of this, Eliot apparently didn’t tell his wife Veronica a thing. She was pretty shocked when she found out. “I’m unsure how it will all play out on TV, but Eliot flat-out lied to Veronica [about sharing a bed with Rhi],’ a source claimed. “He assured her he had slept alone. She has no idea what actually happened.”

The drama is apparently set to come out at the next dinner party. “Veronica turns to Rhi in front of the entire room and says, ‘I don’t appreciate my husband lying to me about sharing a bed with another woman’,” the insider added.

“She’s super upset but the entire room laughs it off and shuts her down.The only people they lied to really was production. The only reason Eliot lied was because he didn’t want to throw Rhi under the bus.” Daily Mail Australia has said Veronica “doesn’t back down” and it “sets the stage for one of the most intense confrontations of the season.”

And then just to make it all the more confusing, a different MAFS source has claimed Veronica *did* know about the bed-sharing scandal, but acted surprised at the dinner party because she wanted to make Eliot look like the bad guy on camera. I need to see this all play out!
