MAFS Australia: Jamie turned down a UK reality TV show to spend more time with Eliot
Apparently she’s prioritising him instead of fame
In a very unexpected plot twist, the MAFS Australia 2025 participants Eliot Donovan and Jamie Marinos are now dating. Jamie is super popular after her stint on MAFS Australia – she has more followers than any of the other contestants. Apparently Jamie was offered a a huge role on a UK reality TV show after her MAFS appearance, but she turned the offer down so she could spend more time with Eliot. Ah, love.
Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins is a reality TV show in which somewhat famous celebs go to a remote location with lots of moody sepia filters, endure various military-themed challenges, and complain a lot. Georgia Harrison was a winner last year.
According to New Idea, Jamie turned down a role on this show. A source told them: “She was their top pick. They loved her strength, her vulnerability, and the United Kingdom is obsessed with her story post MAFS. She would’ve been perfect.”
Apparently Jamie didn’t fancy filming in remote locations and doing a press tour around the UK. If she had committed to this, she would have spent months away from Eliot.
A friend apparently told New Idea: “Jamie’s heart just wasn’t in it. She’s completely invested in her relationship with Elliot and didn’t want to risk it for fame or money.
“Jamie’s always said she wants a family. She sees Elliot as that person and is determined to give the relationship her full attention.”
