Dave reveals what his dating life is like after MAFS Australia, and it’s not going well

MAFS Australia is over for another year and the brides and grooms have finally got their social media profiles back, which is where it gets juicy. They’ve all been revealing what their dating life is like after the experiment, and it’s safe to say Dave is very much single after his rocky end with Jamie.

“How was your dating life after MAFS? Hmm, non-existent. No dates,” the groom said on Instagram. There’s only one woman in his life, his dog Willow, although he’s not dating on purpose to spend time on himself.

“Just focusing on my mental health. My fitness. I’m trying to get back into my training properly but that’s why I’m gonna do 75 Hard. I was in a good position before I went onto the show, like I said earlier but yeah I’m just looking after Willow, my business, it’s pretty time-consuming,” he explained.

Dave said it’s been a bit of a “rollercoaster” since MAFS started airing and his emotions have been “all over the shop” so he’s taking some time out to focus on himself before he thinks about dating again.

“I want to make sure if I do start dating somebody, that I’m in the right spot mentally and I can be myself for them,” he added.

As for Jamie, she’s put herself straight back out there after the experiment and is now getting close to fellow groom Eliot, although they’re not actually official yet.

“I hang out heaps with Eliot. He’s become a very good, very close person to my life so I’m really appreciative of Eliot,” she gushed to 9Entertainment.

“I understand everyone wants an answer but we’re in the real world now, so it’s not like we’re going to be official or announce something tomorrow. I’m enjoying getting to know Eliot, I’m getting to know different people I’m just being open.”

The bride revealed they only started hanging around each other after they both left their marriages, and Eliot has been a “really amazing support system”.

“We have so much fun together, getting to know each other, and making TikToks are always so much fun. But for me, the important thing is that it’s not a publicity stunt, we just genuinely enjoy being around each other.”
