Harriett’s Insta just aired her out with a cringe throwback dancing clip and I’m howling

Picture this! Harriett Blackmore leaves Love Island – hopefully after winning – only to find that her team had posted *that* throwback dance video that initially went viral during her initial reality TV stint in 2024.

Though some have speculated that Harriett and Ronnie faked their breakup for Love Island All Stars, I for one was low-key quite happy to see her gorgeous face again on my TV screen. She has not disappointed, though I do question her coupling up with Ron Hall.

While Islanders are sunning it up halfway around the world, it’s very normal for their teams or families to continue posting on their social media accounts. Luca Bish almost definitely has a relative in charge of his, but it’s not immediately clear who is running Harrietts. I’m kinda hoping it’s a family member because I would be enraged if one of my employees posted this resurfaced video.

On Thursday, whoever is running Harriett’s Instagram gave her followers a chance to ask some burning questions. They included her closest friends, hair care routine, favourite perfume, and makeup habits. Amongst the questions, one person asked whether Harriett would be excited to see Jason Derulo perform when he landed in the Love Island villa yesterday.

“Of course, we can’t wait for these dance moves to come out later,” they replied alongside the throwback video.

The video itself showed a younger Harriett in an Ivy Park t-shirt, white skirt, and Adidas Superstars as she flailed around the dance floor. Though it’s not immediately clear when the video was taken, those particular items have not really been in style since 2015/2016, making Harriett around 16 at the time.

You might remember the video doing the round last year when the TikTok account @s.22zz, who usually posts Love Island news, posted the video to nearly 3 million views and over 234k likes.

I love an embarrassing Love Island moment as much as the next person, so Harriett’s hilarious video has been playing in a loop in my head all day. I just need to know what the original backing track was because it might shed light on her thought pattern behind the jarring moves.

Reacting to the funny video, one person wrote: “Whoever’s running Harriett’s Instagram account needs to be stopped.”

“Haha, I love how this is just as erratic as her kissing and walking. It all just fits!” another person said on Reddit, as someone else wrote, “I can’t stop laughing at this omg she putting her heart and soul into that dance.”

Thankfully, she did not bust out those same moves for Jason Derulo or she might have been sent home early.
