Hold on, will there be Casa Amor drama in season two of Love Island All Stars?
Casa Amor is a time honoured tradition, and this season needs it!!
Casa Amor has become arguably the best part of Love Island, and with this season of All Stars seeing a dramatic dip in its ratings, the show could really do with a dose of drama.
Back in the heyday of season three, you know, the series with great participants like Kem, Chris, and Olivia Attwood, Love Island introduced the Casa Amor concept for the very first time. Since then, it’s been a regular feature in all of the seasons and has sparked iconic moments such as Amy Hartand’s devastating confession, Ovie Soko arriving on the scene, and Andrew Le Page licking a certain body part.
Like many people on Twitter and Reddit, I feel this season is missing something. It could really do with some Casa Amor chaos, but unfortunately, that’s not in the cards. Here’s why.
There will be no Casa Amor in Love Island All Stars
When Love Island All Stars first launched with former Islanders such as Molly Smith, Tom Clare, and Josh Ritchie, Love Island’s executive producer Mike Spencer told The Mirror there are other ways to keep the Islanders on their toes.
“We have got to be reactive. These islanders have done it all before so we have to be one step ahead of them. This gives us the chance to shake it up and bring new islanders into the mix in new ways,” he said at the time.
Part of the reason for not including Casa Amor is the time crunch, with standard seasons of the show running for eight weeks and the All Stars edition only remaining on TV for five.

Mike Spencer added: “Casa Amor, as we know and love it, doesn’t really work for a five week run because you need time to bed in, get to know each other, see if they are for you and if you want to switch it up. I think you don’t need the element of bringing a massive influx of new islanders in. That is good for an eight-week run but you don’t need it for this. This is going to be more intense and people will fall for each other quicker.”
People are still very much divided on the Casa Amor snub
Is there Casa Amor this season? For Casa they should of brought new people never on love island before that would be interesting #loveislandallstars

I for one am devastated that Casa Amor won’t breathe new life into this cast, and though some people agree with me, others were happy to do away with the incendiary tradition.
On Reddit, one person wrote: “I just don’t think there’s a point of Casa Amore, these people have been there done that it shouldn’t be this long process like the original series I would get bored of them ngl.”
“Good on both counts. Casa has been pretty disappointing for a while now IMO,” another said, as a third added, “It’s the same thing every year and they always know it’s coming. They need to do something different like gender mixed Casa Amor.”
