Olivia Attwood brands Bonnie Blue ‘dangerous’ and slams her as ‘hugely problematic’

‘I think what she’s advertising is quite dangerous’

Olivia Attwood is the newest celebrity who has taken aim at the antics of OnlyFans star Bonnie Blue following her 1,000 men stunt earlier this month. Olivia has slammed Bonnie as “dangerous” and “hugely problematic” in terms of the types of messages she is spreading.

Olivia Attwood is the host of the third season of her series, Getting Filthy Rich, where she’ll be interviewing OnlyFans stars and adult workers on how they made their money, but Bonnie Blue will notably not be featured.

As for why, Olivia explained everything to the Daily Mail, revealing: “Bonnie is not on the show because the series was filmed before any of this came to light. But I think the special thing about Getting Filthy Rich is that we represent the sex industry in a balanced way, without bias.

“And I think you have to be careful — it feels potentially like it’s something I would be nervous about giving a platform to. I think what she’s advertising is quite dangerous.

“And it’s actually potentially quite harmful for the sex worker community. It could be undoing a lot of hard work that’s been done to break down the stigma about sex workers.”

Olivia continued, questioning how much Bonnie Blue’s content is genuine compared to just being pure “ragebait.”

“I see a lot of things saying that a lot of what we’re seeing is just rage bait and it’s not actually factual, so it’s hard to work out. I think definitely one of the things that she’s been recorded saying in different interviews that are hugely problematic.

“We are in an epidemic against violence against women and I just think that we can’t take that too lightly at all.

“And I also think that we are working hard to kind of reduce stigma around the sex industry and sex workers, and I think we’ve done a lot of good stuff with this show, so I’d hate to see a member of that industry doing things that push it back.”

As for whether Olivia Attwood would be interested in featuring OnlyFans star Bonnie Blue in a future series of Getting Filthy Rich, she admitted: “I’d never say never, but I think we’d have to see whether it made sense for us.

“Our casting team do a very rigorous job of making sure the people we give the platform to are people that we think are using it responsibly, so I think it’d have to be a bigger decision than just mine.”
