The Love Island All Stars 2025 cast’s very specific demands for going on the show

My working theory is that Love Island: All Stars is extra juicy because all the Islanders have inflated egos after years of semi-fame, so are likely to take personal offence over the silliest things. I’ve lost track of what Luca and Scott are even arguing about, but I’m thoroughly enjoying the process. Loads of the Love Island: All Stars 2025 cast apparently made very niche demands before they agreed to return to the villa. Here’s a rundown of what they were, and if the producers agreed to their conditions.

Apparently Ekin-Su went through many, many stages of negotiation before she agreed to go on All Stars. I wouldn’t expect anything less from her, to be honest. But her “deal-breaker” demand was that she’d only appear on the Love Island: All Stars 2025 if the producers promised her ex Davide Sanclimenti wouldn’t show up at any point.

A source told The Sun, “Ekin’s negotiations to do All Stars were lengthy as she was indecisive, but eventually she told bosses she would sign on the dotted line with one major condition – they had to agree not to put Davide in the villa at any point as a bombshell.

“This wasn’t Ekin being a diva, it’s more than she went through hell towards the end of the relationship and during the break-up. A lot of that played out with how she came across on Celebrity Big Brother and she has only just got back to a good place in the last few months. The last thing she wants is to have to be in a villa.

“Bosses were more than happy to agree as they were desperate to land Ekin and didn’t want to do anything to jeopardise that.”

Apparently some ITV producers were “not fans” of Davide, so they were totally fine with not having him back on the show?

The source apparently said, “Furthermore, several of the bigwigs are not fans of Davide and believe he was very controlling in that relationship and didn’t treat Ekin well.”

Ekin-Su and Davide split up in January 2024, about a year an a half since they met on Love Island. The nation mourned.

Ah, remember the days when you panicked before going camping that you’d lose your Snapchat streak, and you assigned a friend to keep it going for you? It turns out the Love Island: All Stars 2025 cast were stressing over a very different kind of streak.

So, it’s a known fact that Love Islanders can’t take their normal phones into the villa. For the show to work, they need to be cut off from the rest of the world (and all sense of perspective and proportion). But apparently several of this year’s cast begged the producers for some kind of “loophole” that would allow them to keep using one app.

A source told The Mirror, “Everyone was amazed by the repeated requests about Duolingo, but they’ve been told they will still have to forgo their phones.”

I guess if the Islanders were busy perfecting their Spanish grammar, they’d have less time to start meaningless feuds with each other, and we can’t have that!

Luca Bish has threatened to leave the show if Gemma Owen pops up?!

So, the MailOnline asked Luca Bish just before the show started what would happen if his ex Gemma Owen rocked up to the villa as a bombshell. He said, “I’d walk out! I’d probably say, ‘I’m a Love Islander, get me out of here!’

We still don’t know exactly what happened between Luca and Gemma. She announced on Instagram that they were no longer together just three months after the show wrapped.

Luca made it clear he had no interest in getting back together with Gemma. He said, “You can read a book twice but the ending never changes. That’s how I look at stuff like that. Sorry Gemma!”

Thing is, it doesn’t look like ITV gave in to Luca’s demand. Gemma Owen has been rumoured to be going on Love Island: All Stars for, like, ages. She wasn’t one of the OG girlies, so maybe she’s ready to appear as a bombshell? ITV definitely enjoys reuniting exes in the villa. It remains to be seen whether Luca will sty true to his word and storm out if Gemma strolls up the driveway.
