Martial arts to Asda: The bizarrest business side quests of the Love Island All Stars cast

Er, Curtis Pritchard has a financial investment app?!

Everyone knows you don’t go on Love Island to find your soulmate, you go on Love Island to find a fast fashion bikini brand deal opportunity. The show should probably be renamed “Wannabee Influencer Island”. But some of this year’s Love Island: All Stars cast have really thought out of the box when it comes to business opportunities.

Never mind the clothing and make-up deals. They’ve been running martial arts wellness retreats, writing books doing sponsored posts for supermarkets. Hey, everyone needs a hobby!

So, here’s a rundown of the most random and most out-there business side quests which the Love Island: All Stars cast have been cashing in on while they’re not busy shouting at each other in the villa.

Kaz runs all-female martial arts holidays to Thailand

I had no idea Kaz was such a She-EO. She started a headband company called Kazbands.

Kaz also founded a company called Combat Collective, which runs all-female Muay Thai classes in London and Manchester. Combat Collective also organises Muay Thai wellness retreats in Thailand.

The itinerary includes going for a jog with Kaz at 6am, visiting children’s orphanages, and half-hour long ice bath sessions. A week of activities costs £2,099.

Wait, Curtis Pritchard and his brother AJ run a financial investment app?

I never would have guessed in a zillion years that Curtis and AJ were attempting to be serious finance bros. But in 2024, the brothers launched an investment app called Fint. The website describes it as “the ultimate app for real wealth building in the long run” and “like the perfect blend of custom vibes and smart tech”. There are plenty of emojis on the site to seduce young people thinking finance is fun (or that they actually have money to invest).

Curtis even has a super serious LinkedIn like a business student.

He lists his skills for this company as Professional dancer, Racing driver, Presenter, Singing and Acting. It has yet to pop off – he has 52 connections. Curtis has included his stint on Dancing With The Stars on his online CV, but not his many appearances on Love Island. Shame.

Ekin-Su wrote a self-help book

Her debut book has the extremely succinct title “Be Your Own Best Friend: And other lessons from a life in and out of the limelight”. The blurb describes it as “An honest, unapologetic, and occasionally outrageous, guide to life from the inimitable Ekin-Su Culculoglu, ‘Queen of Bombshells'”. She should put “Queen of Bombshells” on her tombstone.

I’m undecided as to whether this should count as a business side quest, because I’m not sure how profitable it was. The Daily Mail reported that the book failed to sell 500 copies within the first three months.

Casey made an ad for Asda and took it extremely seriously

Smile for the camera, Casey!

10/10 for effort, honestly. The video is called “Getting matchday ready with Asda”. It shows Casey wearing a basket as a hat, squatting with beer in the discounts aisle, legit skipping through the refrigerator section, and twirling through the car park. He narrates everything in a monotone voice. I have no doubts that he would behave like this in real life if you went to a supermarket with him.

Gabby organises wellness retreats in the Mediterranean

She has a fitness coaching company called Shape Up With Gabby. There’s an app, plus Gabby has run two vibey wellness retreats to Ibiza and Mykonos. You stay in a Mediterranean villa, but do lots of running and yoga instead of flirting with a load of mediocre men for eight weeks.

The food looks fabulous, but I fear I don’t have enough fitness or Lululemon leggings to attend.

Gabby also has a wellness podcast. Because who doesn’t have a wellness podcast in 2025.

Luca Bish does ads for Visit Abu Dhabi

Amazingly, Luca’s business side gigs outside of Love Island: All Stars aren’t all fish-related. His Insta is full of pics of him smiling excessively next to giraffes at a zoo. Luca also posted a carousel of him grinning next to various tourist attractions, with the very lengthy and descriptive caption “What a place”. Er, I guess you might as well cash in on the free holidays while you can?

Tina has a sustainable swimwear line

Of course she does. Plain white bikini bottoms from Litora cost £65.00. You’ll then need to shell out £75.00 for the matching top. I’m sure they’re very nice, but you don’t exactly get much fabric for your money. I would be scared to bend over.
