Love Island: All Stars 2025 has only just started, and it’s already serving drama left, right and centre. The public vote has matched up the OG couples. We investigated how compatible (or how deeply incompatable) the Love Island: All Stars couples are based on their star signs. Some of these pairings are literally written in the stars. Some of these couples will probably only last as long as the average MAFS marriage.

So, here’s a a very serious and scientific analysis of how incompatible the Love Island: All Stars 2025 couples are, based on their star signs.

Catherine Agbaje and Nas Majeed

Catherine is the youngest All Stars Islander this year. She and Nas are both water signs – Catherine’s birthday is 23rd June 2000, making her a Cancer, and Nas’s birthday is 24th February 1996, so he’s a Pisces. This should be a dreamy pairing. Both signs are sensitive, in tune with their emotions and great listeners. They should do a good job at working through any drama and making the other feel heard.

Curtis Pritchard and Kaz Crossley

Kaz and Curtis isn’t a rogue pairing after all, because it’s lowkey written in the stars. They’re both an Aquarius. Kaz was born on 20th January 1995, and Curtis was born on 8th February 1996.  No wonder they had such an instant spark before they were even coupled up.

Aquarius people won’t be satisfied with just fancying someone. To be excited by a relationship, they need to vibe with someone on a deep and meaningful level. Maybe Curtis and Kaz can have lots of intellectual chats about the science behind iced coffee? People with an Aquarius sign are also bored easily and prone to flakiness, though. Curtis and Kaz’s relationship will either be a love story for the ages or it will crash and burn within two episodes. There will be no middle ground.

Elma Pazar and Ronnie Vint

This is an elite pairing (in theory, anyway). Both are a Cancer sign. Elma was born on 7th July 1993, and Ronnie was born on 17th July 1996. Cancers are really intuitive and sensitive, so Elma and Ronnie should be great at listening to each other’s needs.

One potential problem with this pairing, though, is that Cancers aren’t very confrontational. They dislike drama. Not a great trait for a reality show. If Elma and Ronnie have a problem with each other, they might not bring it up out of fear that it will upset the other person, and just let the resentment simmer. This isn’t great for relationships. (Or great for Love Island viewers who are here for the tea.)

Gabby Allen and Marcel Somerville

Honestly, looking at their star signs, I’m not at all surprised that Gabby and Marcel’s relationship failed so spectacularly the first time around. Gabby is an Aquarius – her birthday is 6th February 1992. Marcel was born on 7th January 1986, making him a Capricorn (and, like, the oldest Love Islander ever).

An Aquarius and a Capricorn are just not meant to be. Marcel would for stability in relationship, and find Gabby to flakey and flighty. Gabby would get bored of Marcel’s more, er, pragmatic approach to life. Maybe they’ll defy the odds and get back together? But I kind of doubt it.

India Reynolds and Scott Thomas

I can totally see this one working. India is a Sagittarius (born 20th December 1990) and Scott is a Leo (born 11th August 1988). Both are fire signs, so they should be totally comfortable with being openly flirty on national TV. Their banter will have instant sparks.

But if they don’t fancy each other on first sight, then they might as well not bother with the relationship. They’ll need that initial attraction to get going.

Luca Bish and Olivia Hawkins

This is a deeply cursed pairing. You mark my words. Olivia is a Gemini girlie because her birthday is 20th June 1995. Our fav fishmonger Luca Bish was born on 14th May 1999, making him a Taurus. Ew.

Olivia is someone who needs really good rizz and banter to avoid getting bored in a relationship. She might quickly get fed up of Luca if his chat isn’t up to scratch. Luca is all about loyalty. He might mistake Olivia’s extroversion and chattiness for flakiness, and get stressed that she’s not committed enough to him.

Who should Ekin-Su couple up with based on her star sign?

Ekin-Su is the most Leoish Leo ever to be Leo. Her birthday is 21st August 1994. This star sign is deeply charismatic and lowkey desperate for attention (as evidenced by Ekin-Su’s stints on basically every reality TV show ever since she left the villa).

Leo is a very passionate star sign. Ekin-Su’s Venus is in Libra, which means she looks for a partner who will match her energy and she can overshare everything with. Ekin-Su’s birth chart suggests she has an all-or-nothing kind of approach to relationships. If she doesn’t like the look of someone straight way, she won’t bother saying more than two words to them. If she does like someone, then she’ll have planned their wedding within five minutes.

The obvious person for Ekin-Su to go for straightaway would be her fellow Leo, Scott. But that relationship might get very dramatic very quickly if either of them feels their partner is stealing their thunder. Honestly, I can’t wait. She should avoid the water star signs in the Love Island villa (i.e. Nas and Ronnie). A Leo is likely to find a Pisces or a Cancer too shy and too low energy.
