TikTok’s ‘hot priest’ responds after his mum clocked those filthy comments about him

The HolyFans is incoming

Someone check on Phoebe Waller-Bridge because after igniting the latent thirst we had for hot priests in Fleabag season two, the Lord has answered our TikTok prayers with a real-world version – it must be Christmas.

The whole hot priest thing is nothing new, and while a psychologist might attribute it to them being unavailable or sparking some pent-up religious guilt centred around purity, people lose their minds each and every time one pops up. There was, of course, Andrew Scott in Fleabag, but you’ve also got Gregory Peck in 1944’s The Keys of the Kingdom, Josh O’Connor in Knives Out, and Antonio Banderas in The Body.

Our latest example is from right here in the UK, where St Edward the Confessor in Romford just got a whole lot more viral. Simply put, it’s hard not to lead people into temptation when you look like Father Jordan.

In the name of the Father, and of the Son – God, this priest is hot

This hilarious, if not blasphemous, saga started on August 11 when Vicar Jordan posted his first TikTok outside of St Edward’s church in Romford, East London.

“Here is our new Vicar Father Jordan with a welcome message!” the post, which has since been viewed 1.5 million times, was captioned.

The video itself was not that exciting; just Father Jordan introducing himself to the community and urging people to come visit the church. Unfortunately for him, but a huge positive for us, he’s a very attractive man.

One person wrote: “Do you do private confession time? Asking for a friend.”

“Some call him father, some call him DADDDYYYYYY,” another wrote, as someone’s literal grandmother confessed, “I am old enough to know better not to think the things I am thinking, forgive me father.”

As I go and grab the hosepipe to cool TikTok down, here’s what Father Jordan had to say.

Following his rise to internet stardom, Father Jordan created his own TikTok. Sorry folks, it’s doubtful he’ll be dropping *that* link anytime soon.

“TikTok, are you okay? Well, thank everyone for over a million views on our church TikTok for St Edward the Confessor in Romford,” he said in a new clip with 1.1 million views. “I have read every single comment, even my mum saw it, she’s so proud. Some of you think I knew what I was doing, and you caught me. I did stand outside a beautiful church in my priest clothes and pull some of my most handsome stares.”

After just two TikToks, one of which was about TikTok “still” needing God, Father Jordan has 17k followers.

Brb, going to pray for salvation.
