This year, there are loads of people who have been in the same TV show. Most obviously, Richard E Grant, Sebastian Croft and Bella Ramsey were all in Game of Thrones.

Richard E Grant and Jerry Hall

In the first episode, Jerry Hall revealed that she and Richard E Grant are neighbours, but their connection stems way further than that. As well as both living in posh Richmond, they’re friends who have known each other for 30 years. They were both in the children’s film Tooth back in 2004, and he went to her wedding to Rupert Murdoch in 2016.

Definitely the most obvious connection is Rob Beckett and Romesh Ranganathan, besties and co-hosts who have known each other for decades. They had their own travel show, Rob & Romesh Vs, and have a real bromance on the outside world.

The comedians have loads of links

In fact, there are actually loads of little links between all the comedians. Romesh hosts The Weakest Link, which Julie Hesmondhalgh is the narrator for. Joe Lycett and James Acaster are good friends. Lycett and Joanne McNally are pals. Joe Lycett was on the TV show Last One Laughing with Rob Beckett. Joanne McNally and Romesh Ranganathan were on the game show Unacceptable together. James Acaster went on Ranganathan’s podcast. It’s safe to say they’re all very acquainted with each other.
