We’re just two episodes in, but already Maya Jama’s Celebrity Traitors wardrobe costs thousands
One coat cost more than my entire closet
I think I went into this series of Celebrity Traitors knowing I was going to be in awe of Maya Jama and her wardrobe. It was a given. But I didn’t honestly think she was going to eat this hard. And this early on. Come on now girl, I can’t take this!
Episode one, she walked out in an incredible trench. Episode two she was giving the cosiest castle vibes I’ve ever seen. I love her, I love her clothes. Just my Google search history now hates me, and has well and truly been humbled at the sheer idea I could have some of these items in my wardrobe, too.
“Maya has become the fashion queen of the castle. She loves having fun with fashion and her coats have got everyone talking,” a source told The Sun (because yes of course, “sources” are discussing her clothes). “Claudia was always known for her bold fashion choices on the show, but Maya is giving her a run for her money.”
I hate to say, but Maya’s clothes on the show are giving enjoy from a distance. Unless you’ve won the lottery, or are in a similar line of work to Maya herself, it might not be the most realistic capsule wardrobe you’ve ever imagined. But your Pinterest board will look boujie as hell.
The Saint Laurent trench coat, £2,570

In episode one, Maya rocked up in a gorgeous, tan coloured double-breasted trench coat. It was Saint Laurent, of course. On Net-A-Porter, it currently retails at £2,570. But be warned, it’s low in stock!
She rocked it tied around the neck and waist, giving it plenty of shape. I fear it would have a bin bag effect on me, but there we go.
The ‘Honey Monster’ jacket, £600

via BBC
In episode two, Maya’s coat caught eyes again. People on Twitter said she looked a bit like the Honey Monster all wrapped up in her mustard coloured number, to which Maya tweeted to explain it’s bloody cold in the castle. Which is so fair.
This coat was another spenny piece. It’s the Giant-Shoulder Mongolian Bolero listed on London-based fashion house Agro Studio’s website for £600.
I’m envious, I really am.
