Ron Hall has just been announced as the latest bombshell on Love Island All Stars. He was first on the show during the winter series, so he’s very much at home finding love in the South Africa villa.

During his season, Ron made it to the Love Island 2023 final alongside his ex, Lana Jenkins. They had a bit of a whirlwind relationship, before calling it quits. Then, just weeks before All Stars, it was revealed Ron was dating someone else he used to be in the villa with. So, what happened there then?!

Things got pretty messy between Ron and Lana straight after Love Island 2023. They came second on the show, and then their first bust up apparently happened on the plane home, back to the UK. Things were said to have gotten so bad, they travelled home from the airport separately and spent their first night back at home, apart.

Three months after the show, it was revealed they had broken up. It was said at the time it was because of distance. Lana lives in Manchester, and Ron lives in Essex. Other reports put the split down to “huge rows”.

Ron later explained of the breakup: “I think it was for multiple reasons. The world is a bit nuts, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t and if it was in another world it might have worked.”

After the split, Ron vowed to never do reality TV again. Which is awkward. He said: “I will never do a dating show again, I will never have a relationship in the public eye again because I think it ruins it. It played a part in mine and Lana’s relationship.” Erm, so what’s going on here then?

Just weeks before All Stars, Ron was dating another Islander

Just two months ago, it was confirmed Ron was in a new relationship. It was a familiar face, as she too was in the 2023 villa. Ron was dating Lydia Karakyriakou, who was part of the ninth series’ Casa Amor cast. Sharing pictures of them together, Ron said on Instagram: “Well ain’t these just lovely pictures.”

However, literally days before Love Island All Stars started, it was revealed Ron and Lydia had split over Christmas. They were officially together for a couple of months. His casting for All Stars must have been a QUICK turnaround.
