Erm, did these two iconic Squid Game cast members reveal they’re going to die next season?

Say it ain’t so

Right, no matter what your thoughts on Squid Game are, I think we can all agree that Players 007 and 149 must absolutely be protected at all costs. They’re so wholesome and their adorable mother and son relationship is just the cherry on top of the cake.

I was genuinely so tense this whole season of Squid Game stressing that anything was going to happen to Players 007 and 149, and I was so relieved they both managed to make it through unscathed.

However, as a result, it means they’ll be coming back next season and it looks like the actors might have accidentally revealed their heartbreaking fate for season three of Squid Game.

During an interview with the YouTube channel AsianFeed, Kang Ae-sim who plays 149 reveals exactly how long it took for them to film seasons two and three of Squid Game when compared to the other cast members. And it’s not looking particularly optimistic for their future.

She emotionally revealed: “For the other actors it took one year to film seasons two and three. And for us, it took six months.”

Now, whilst this doesn’t confirm that one or both of them won’t last very long in season three of Squid Game it does seem to indicate that Players 007 and 149 won’t be spending a lot of time together.

I’m really hoping this just means they get separated because I genuinely do not have the emotional capacity for anything bad to happen to either one of them.
