TikTok has a major theory of what’s coming next on Squid Game and I’m convinced

Need the next episodes NOW

People on TikTok are sharing a theory of what could come next on Squid Game, and I need those new episodes now. The end of Squid Game 2 doesn’t show a conclusion to the games, instead giving us a post-credits scene to tease more to come.

Season three is coming in 2025, and now people on TikTok are using the post-credits scene to come up with a solid theory of what’s coming next on Squid Game. During the scene we see Young-hee, the killer Red Light, Green Light doll, alongside another doll called Cheol-su. We then see a traffic crossing sign going from red to green.

TikTok is now convinced this a teaser of a Jack and Jill style game. Young-hee and Cheol-su are apparently based on two characters from Korean school books. They are said to represent the power of nostalgia and childhood memories, with Cheol-su being a bit of a trouble maker. This links to the story known in western cultures, as Jack and Jill.

As the story goes, Jack and Jill went up a hill to fetch a pail of water. Jack fell down, and Jill came tumbling down after. According to the game, players recreate this by rolling a dice to climb the hill. They then spin a wheel, which either points to a well or a bucket. If you spin and it points to the well, you climb upwards. If you spin and it points to the bucket, you fall down. The aim of the game is to be the first to reach the top.

The creator of Squid Game has confirmed the clip does show a teaser of a new game. He said the post-credits scene is a “hint at the most exciting game in season three.” I need it now!
