P Diddy is heard for the first time since arrest on the phone with his kids from prison

His son shared a video of the family on speakerphone with their dad

P Diddy was recently heard from for the first time on a phone call with his children who were singing him happy birthday while in prison. Justin, P Diddy’s 30 year old son, shared an Instagram reel of himself and five other siblings as they wished their dad a happy birthday on a call.

The family sat around a table while Love, his youngest child at just two years old, sang happy birthday into the phone. The caption of the video read “happy birthday Pops, we love you!”

In the video, P Diddy can be heard saying “I love you all, I love you all so much,” to his children.

“I can’t wait to see y’all. I can’t wait to see y’all. I just want to say I’m proud of y’all, especially the girls – I mean all of y’all,” he continued.

“But just for being strong. Thank you all for being strong, thank you all for being by my side, supporting me, I love ya’ll. I get the best family in the world. My birthday, I’m happy. Thank you all for giving me this call. Thank you very much. I love you all.”

Justin then told his dad he would “see you in a couple of days.”

Diddy’s children’s joint statement

In late October, six of Combs’ seven children (excluding two year old Love) shared a joint statement to People “supporting” Diddy after his indictment.

“The past month has devastated our family. Many have judged both him and us based on accusations, conspiracy theories, and false narratives that have spiralled into absurdity on social media,” it read.

The statement continued: “We stand united, supporting you every step of the way. We hold onto the truth, knowing it will prevail, and nothing will break the strength of our family. WE MISS YOU & LOVE YOU DAD. Quincy, Justin, Christian, Chance, Jessie & D’Lila.”

What are the accusations against P Diddy?

P Diddy has been accused of trafficking and racketeering, but he has denied all of these allegations. He is set to face trial next year, almost eight months after his arrest on the 16th of September this year. His trial is currently planned to take place on the 5th May 2025 and he is being held without bail in a New York Prison until then.

All of his bail attempts were denied by the case’s previous judge who would not grant the request on the grounds that he was a “danger to the community.” His bail package included a $50 million payout, a GPS tracker, house arrest and the surrender of his entire family’s passports.
