‘The fight continues’: All of the statements P Diddy has made while being in prison

P Diddy and his lawyers have issued many statements since his arrest on the 16th of September

P Diddy has been a huge topic of conversation after shocking accusations were made against him involving racketeering and sex trafficking. P Diddy, also known as Sean Combs, has denied all of these allegations and now faces an enormous legal battle, but he and his lawyers have been very vocal regarding the situation. P Diddy has made it very clear that he wants to prove his innocence, and has issued many statements from prison where he is awaiting trial. Here is a timeline of everything he has said so far.

17th of September – the day after his arrest

After P Diddy was arrested in New York City on Monday the 16th of September, his lawyer, Marc Agnifilo issued a statement on the matter. He said he was “disappointed with the decision to pursue what we believe is an unjust prosecution,” and believes P Diddy is an “innocent man”.

26th of September – P Diddy speaks about the Kim Porter novel

P Diddy released a statement through his attorney Erica Wolf regarding a “fake” memoir about Kim Porter, his ex-wife. The book was titled Kim’s Lost Words: A journey for justice, from the other side…, and was just 60 pages long. It has been denounced by both P Diddy and his three children in a statement.

In the statement she said: “The Kim Porter ‘memoir’ is fake. It is also offensive – a shameless attempt to profit from tragedy.

“Unlike the fabrications in his sickening ‘memoir’, it is an established fact that Ms Porter died of natural causes. May she rest in peace.” Kim Porter died in 2018 aged 47.

28th of September – the TMZ documentary

Marc Agnifilo, P Diddy’s lawyer, said in a teaser for TMZ‘s new documentary, The Downfall of Diddy: The Indictment: “I don’t know that I could keep him off the stand. I think he’s very eager to tell his story.”

When referring to the video of Cassie Ventura, Marc continued: “I think he will tell every part of his story, including what you see on the video. He has his story, and he has a story that, I think, only he can tell in the way he can tell it in real time. It’s a human story. It’s a story of love, it’s a story of hurt, it’s a story of heartbreak.

“When he describes that relationship, the word he uses more than any other word is heartbreak. He was heartbroken. She was heartbroken,” he added.

30th of September – prison update

At the end of September, P Diddy’s lawyer shared an update to The Independent on how the rapper is doing from prison. He described his state of mind as being “actually remarkably positive.”

“I spend several hours with him every day,” he said. “His resolve is strong. He’s engaged.”

According to the lawyer, he has “come to terms with the fact that this is where he is for now”, and he’s “focused on his defence”.

1st of October – P Diddy’s lawyers release statement regarding the 120 alleged victims who will be coming forward

After news that 120 alleged victims will come forward, an attorney for P Diddy issued a statement to LadBible: “As Mr. Combs’ legal team has emphasised, he cannot address every meritless allegation in what has become a reckless media circus. That said, Mr. Combs emphatically and categorically denies as false and defamatory any claim that he sexually abused anyone, including minors. He looks forward to proving his innocence and vindicating himself in court, where the truth will be established based on evidence, not speculation.”

P Diddy has issued statements denying all of the accusations against him, and is being held at a New York prison after his bail requests were denied twice by a judge.
