Amazon removes ‘fake memoir’ book by ex-wife of P Diddy after backlash from their children
P Diddy’s three children said the book was ‘hurtful and false’
Amazon has removed a memoir labelled as fake from its store, that claimed to tell a story of an abusive relationship between P Diddy and Kim Porter, his late ex-wife. The book was titled Kim’s Lost Words: A journey for justice, from the other side…, and was just 60 pages long. The book has been denounced by both P Diddy and his three children in a statement.
The book was said to be filled with spelling errors and grammatical mistakes, and detailed the alleged physical abuse and sexual violence P Diddy has been accused of. It was being sold for $22 on Amazon, but has since been removed.
An Amazon spokesperson told The Independent: “We were made aware of a dispute regarding this title and have notified the publisher. The book is not currently available for sale in our store.”
P Diddy and Kim Porter had three children together, who are 26 and 17 year-old twins. Their children have criticised the book as being a complete lie after it attained bestseller status on the Amazon charts in September. They labelled the book as “hurtful and false” and asked people to “please respect our mother” and “hold her legacy in high regard so that she may rest in peace.” Kim Porter passed away six years ago aged 47.

The book’s publisher goes by the name Chris Todd, an “investigative producer, author and journalist.” Todd claimed that he had sources “very close to Kim and Sean Combs” who gave him a “flash drive, documents and tapes” from Kim Porter that he used to write the memoir.
P Diddy issued a statement about the allegedly fake memoir from prison, claiming that the book is all fabricated information. Eboni Elektra, a friend of late Kim Porter, wrote on Instagram that “there is no book! There never was. Several people continue to speak about and spread blatant lies regarding this ‘mystery manuscript’ as if it were true. People… it’s NOT. Kim would never do such a thing.”
P Diddy has denied all accusations against him and has voiced his desire to take the stand and tell his side of the story. He is currently being held at a New York detention centre after his bail requests were denied twice by the case’s judge.
