All the TV shows, films and documentaries you can watch about Gypsy Rose’s story

I’ll be adding all of these to my list

Right now everyone is hooked on keeping up with Gypsy Rose Blanchard since she’s been released from prison. And if you really want to deep-dive into her story even more, there are loads of TV shows, films and documentaries which all go into the case of Gypsy Rose and her mother’s murder in depth.

Gypsy has spent the last eight years behind bars because of the murder of her mother, Dee Dee Blanchard. Dee Dee falsely claimed her daughter was suffering from different illnesses until Gypsy arranged for her boyfriend to kill her mother in 2015. Experts believe Dee Dee suffered from Munchausen syndrome by proxy.

For years Dee Dee forced her daughter Gypsy to pretend she was suffering from leukaemia, muscular dystrophy, and various other serious illnesses. She put her in a wheelchair, shaved her head, and was fed by a tube despite not being ill.

Since then, there have been lots of different true crime films and dramatisations of Gypsy’s story, which has fascinated the world. Here’s a rundown of how you can watch them all.
