Warwick ranked third best University for Creative Writing

The Complete University Guide ranked Warwick as the UK’s 11th best university


In the Complete University Guide’s 2021 League Tables, the University of Warwick has been ranked as the third best university for Creative Writing in the UK. The top three spots were taken by Lancaster University and the University of Birmingham.

Warwick has now ranked the 11th best university; beating Exeter by one place. You can read the full list here.

The top ten are:

  1. University of Cambridge
  2. University of Oxford
  3. University of St Andrews
  4. London School of Economics and Politics
  5. Imperial College London
  6. Loughborough University
  7. Durham University
  8. Lancaster University
  9. University of Bath
  10. UCL (University College London)

Warwick also has 17 subjects ranked in the top ten subject league table. Highlights include being ranked number three for Drama, Dance and Cinematics; 11 places up from last years rankings. We were also ranked number seven for Physics and Astronomy, meaning we beat Exeter by 11 places.

In the research quality table, Warwick came seventh, beating the University of Edinburgh, Queen Mary University of London and the University of Bristol who all came joint at ninth place.
