Diyora ShadijanovaYesterday hundreds of students gathered at the Piazza to protest against Trump’s Muslim travel ban at the University of Warwick.
The protest was hosted by seven societies which were Warwick: Friends of Palestine Society, Jewish Israeli Society Warwick, Warwick Anti Sexism Society – WASS, Warwick Anti-Racism Society, Arabic Society – University of Warwick, Warwick Pride and Warwick Catholic Society – CathSoc.
During the protest, students and lecturers spoke about the dangers of Islamophobia, as well as condemning Donald Trump’s divisive policies. Here are photos of some of the best signs from the event.
