There was a fire in a Rootes flat
Nobody was harmed
Earlier today, a small fire broke out in one of the Rootes buildings, Flat D.
Whilst the cause of the fire is not yet known, it is said that no-one was was injured.
Everyone was evacuated safely, alongside a quick response from fire services.
As usual, YikYak was the first to note the unfolding events with several Yaks and pictured posted about the fire.
According to Yaks, the cause of the fire was due to a lit incense candle which caused a pair of curtains to set alight.
