Trent smashes Notts in ‘University of the Year’ rankings

We beat Oxford and Cambridge too

Whatuni.com’s Choice Awards have revealed that Trent placed seventh in the “University of the year” category beating the majority of Russell Group Universities including Oxford, Cambridge, Newcastle and Manchester to name a few.

Trent moved up six places from last year and have finished with a score of 4.48, only 0.25 points off first position. “Uni Of” rivals moved down fifteen places from last year leaving them as the 31st University of the Year.

This just reinforces the fact that Trent is, and will always be, better.

Students were asked to complete surveys on their opinion of the Uni by giving answers to ten categories. With pints selling at £2.00 – a whole £1.50 less than the average £3.50 at other Universities – it’s obvious why we were awarded a position in the top ten.

We’re famous for Ocean Wednesdays, but we have a lot more to offer than our costume design skills, as a massive 93% of our grads will secure a job or go into further education within 6 months of graduating.

We may not be number one but does it really matter when you beat Oxbridge and “Uni Of”?
