They also filmed the same student with the caption ‘free lapdances’

To shed light on the context of these posts The Tab Nottingham got in contact with Carpe Noctum, who run Crisis. They said: "Our social media account is run by multiple staff members in order to keep up with the level of engagement we are fortunate enough to receive on all our social media channels.

"Staff are given training on what types of content are appropriate. We review each week's output at our weekly meetings for performance and standards. These two pieces fell just outside of what we have liked to have been showing and the team were informed of this. As this was a story and not a permanent post, no further action (e.g. deletion) was required.

"Running the social media marketing of the UK's Biggest Student Night and keeping it fun, humorous and appealing to our audience isn't easy. To keep us relevant we use student staff much like yourselves. This has tremendous benefits of keeping us in touch with our fantastic customers. It does have certain pitfalls, making sure content is right is one of them."
