Norwich among happiest places to live in the UK

Norwich has been voted one of the happiest places to live in Britain.

A poll by property website Rightmove saw Norwich come 6th out of 111 towns and cities in a poll measuring “contentedness”.

The survey was answered by more than 50,000 people and considered 12 factors including safety, cost, neighbourliness and pride in property.

Harrogate was voted the happiest place to live in the UK, with the north doing better than the south overall.

East London was named as the least happy area, with Ilfrod, Croydon, Twickenham and Harrow all among the bottom 10.
