Grace MiddletonThe American election in all its absurdity and reality-show-like drama gripped all of us even though we aren’t even American citizens. It was the time to see whether America would make us seem less stupid for our Brexit decision. Well they really trumped us on that one.
This result however caused such controversy that it led to students fighting at the SU election party, and consequently caused the night to be shut down.

The fight broke out after students walked in donning the trademark trump hats which had the also trademark slogan, ‘Make America Great Again’ on them.
