UCL destroys King’s College London in Guardian uni rankings

We’re the best in the country for art

UCL came 14th in the latest uni rankings, while King’s came an abysmal  42nd.

In The Guardian’s University League Tables for 2017 we were just two places behind LSE, while Imperial predictably came ahead in seventh.

Unfortunately this is a fall from last year, where we came 12th.

It’s no surprise that the top three places were retained by Cambridge, Oxford and St Andrews.

The Guardian’s league tables rank universities according to:spending per student; the student/staff ratio; graduate career prospects; what grades applicants need to get a place.

They also factor in a value-added score that compares students’ entry qualifications with their final degree results; and how satisfied final-year students are with their courses, based on results from the annual National Student Survey (NSS). Specialist tables also rank universities by subject area.

At least we’re the best uni in the country for Art!
