Undergrads snapped on film doing the nasty

Two UCL undergraduate students have been caught having sex in the library, The Tab can exclusively reveal.

In a  video made by a fellow student at the scene, the lovers can clearly be seen going at it behind a bookshelf in the Hebrew section.

The grainy footage

Matt McDonald, a second year Arts and Sciences student, caught the students on tape after hearing the couple’s salacious moans on Tuesday evening:

“I was working late on my fashion and modernity project when I heard these weird noises. At first it sounded like someone being sick, but then I could hear people giggling and sshh-ing each other. Every now and again I’d hear a little moan. It was really gross.”

With his interest peaked, the intrepid student decided to do the only honourable thing: film it.

“I whipped out my iPhone and started following the sound, they were just behind the next bookcase. They didn’t seem to notice when I popped my head round at first, as they were into it. They were lying under one of the tables, I could see their feet poking out and he had his trousers down. I tried to go in for a closer look but suddenly the girl screamed, so I ran away.”

The footage, 38 seconds in length, clearly shows the pair getting down and dirty in the hallowed halls of learning. Towards the end, you can see the pair startled and trying to cover themselves up as Matt runs away. The lovers still have not been identified.

Library security seemed unaware of the incident when asked this morning, although one staff member did let on that “It’s actually a problem we have occasionally. We usually see a couple walk in together and you just know. It’s doesn’t happen that often though.”

Stay tuned for the salacious video later today.
