Liverpool ONE’s annual Christmas Light Switch On has been replaced with another event
Here’s what you need to know
Instead of the usual tree and fireworks, this year Liverpool ONE have decided to switch it up by revealing a new light installation called 'Polaris: Dare to Dream'. The event will run from 4-8pm on Friday the 16th November, and takes place in Liverpool ONE's Chavasse Park.
In addition to the light installation, there will be a street festival running alongside the festivities. This will feature pantomime performers, a piano playing Santa and The Voice Kids contestant, Astrid, who is going to be performing Christmas songs.
It's two weeks until our ONE BIG Christmas Street party! We've got performances, pantomimes, live music, Bar Hutte, and plenty of surprises and treats! And you're invited!

Liverpool ONE have teamed up with the NSPCC this year as part of their 'Light Every Childhood Christmas' appeal, so a choir will also be performing on the Sugar House steps near John Lewis on the same day.
The tree and Christmas lights are going to be switched on before the event with no fanfare.
Nonetheless, it's set to be a magical evening so don't miss out.
