España campus style: The best dressed in Madrid

campus street style Europe madrid spain summer fashion year abroad

Taking a year abroad has many perks, and the shopping is one of them. Forget Liverpool ONE, these guys have an Erasmus grant which is just screaming to be splurged on cute, new outfits for actually hot and sunny weather.

Emma, studying at ICADE Business School, shows how patterned leggings and Nike trainers are still a perfect outfit for any hot day in the city. Teamed with this off the shoulder white crop top, she continues to be right on trend.

Their faces say it all: with that pose surely they know how to rock fashion. But seriously, Sara from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid looks great with her sheer tights and black and white dress, showing how black certainly isn’t just a winter colour.

Matt, an Erasmus student studying at Universidad Complutense de Madrid, throws out those cool as a cucumber vibes with his Supreme denim shirt and black shorts combo.

Abi, studying at Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, makes a statement by matching her red lipstick with a red, flowery top. While some may say she needs to buy a pair of new jeans, we think she looks amazing in these denim washed, ripped ones.

Pauline from ICADE Business School in Madrid proves double denim should be worn and can look great, as long as the jeans are a darker shade of denim. Topped off with a white printed blouse, the word cute comes to mind.

Both these girls look fantastic. Edurne, on the left, who studies at Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, captures the bohemian-hippy look perfectly with her suede tassel jacket and mom jeans.

On the right, Marina looks just as cool in her pink and white tassel top and obvious spring essential: the white jacket.  Finished off with a classic pair of black trainers and Dr. Martens style shoes, these girls are ready to face university head on.

This Universidad Autónoma de Madrid couple talk power with their fabulous fashion sense. While Yaser dresses simply but stylishly in a plain white t-shirt and jeans, Dánae settles for these practical yet funky patterned trousers. Matched with a plain white cami, she shows how the transgression from spring to summer clothing is easy.
