Southern based quirky pop band Unsung Lilly, and acoustic singer songwriter Alex Louise are due to take part in the ‘Liverpool Music Takeover’ on Tuesday 15th January.

They will be performing during the day at Liverpool ONE, The Bluecoat cafe, and giving a public appearance at Liverpool’s ‘The Cake Shop’, followed by an evening £3 entry gig at Lomax on Cumberland Street.

Both acts have worked Liverpool into their promotional campaigns for their upcoming singles: Unsung Lilly’s ‘Happy’ will be released 21st January, and Alex’s ‘Undercover’ is due a few weeks later on 11th February.

‘I can’t wait to see Liverpool and all it has to offer,’ says Alex Louise, as it will be her first venture into northern territories to promote her music. She added: ‘Its really exciting that people are reacting so well to the music and we now get to travel and take it to more people!’

Sera and Frankie, Unsung Lilly’s two charismatic front-women, are full of anticipation for the trip too… ‘We’re really excited about the single release – everyone has reacted so well to our song ‘Happy’ and we’re really pleased we get the opportunity to hopefully brighten up everyone’s January!’ says Sera.

‘Liverpool has such an amazing reputation for new music, so we can’t wait to get up there and play at Lomax!’ says Frankie.
