The Tab Leeds are looking for new writers!

Come and write for a nationwide online publication!

| UPDATED

From features, news articles, quizzes and Hyde Park’s best rumours, The Leeds Tab covers it all and we’re looking for new writers to join our team!

At The Leeds Tab, it is entirely up to you what you write and when you write; we just want engaged, enthusiastic and creative people to provide a voice to the students of Leeds. We want everyone – from Freshers who regret living in Central Village, to final year students looking for a distraction from writing their dreaded dissertations. This year we’ve written articles from the type of students you’ll find in Leeds on Hinge, to the fool proof ways on getting over a breakup. We’ve also covered breaking stories, such as the occupation of the Ziff Building and protests, to exposing the controversy of the Leeds Uni Men’s Football Team vandalisation.

You don’t need any previous journalistic experience, however it is great practice if you want to go into that field, or just to add to your CV!

Come on, we know you want a Tab lighter

We’re hosting an open meeting on Monday 3rd October at Dry Dock at 6pm, so if you’re a student at any university in Leeds and you’re interested in writing for us, don’t hesitate to come along and get involved!

It would also be great if you could fill out this form to register your interest in writing for The Tab!

If you’ve got any questions, get in touch with us via Instagram – we’ll be posting all further information there.
