Embrace your inner Captain Jack Sparrow because the second annual Leeds Rum Festival will be returning to the Corn Exchange on September 23 and 24. The event will run from 12pm to 5pm on both days. Standard Entry – including access to master classes and free samples, will be £13.33 and VIP is £17.58

Sam Fish, operations manager for well-known Leeds bar Mojo has teamed back up with Dan Crowther of The Hedonist Project, to praise the drink they both love.

Mr Fish said: “Rum is the most diverse spirit category in the world. The way that it’s made varies massively from country to country. Dan and I believe this should be celebrated. Last year’s was a roaring success and 2017 is set to be even better. This year there will be over 80 rum expressions, and several masterclasses including a special cocktail masterclass with real cocktail ingredients. All rum samples and the masterclasses are free with the ticket price.”

He continued: “We were the first Rum Festival in Leeds and now we are the only one that offers all free samples.”
