In a poll conducted by AccommodationforStudents.com, students voted for Space as one of the worst clubs in the UK.
Space, which last year ranked as Leeds’ most crime-ridden club, came second in the survey of 1,600 people at uni.
Club chain Pop World was declared the worst in the country. The top five also included Acapulco in Halifax, The Forum in Nottingham and Tiger Tiger in Manchester.
Politics and Parliamentary Studies second year Duncan Claber said: “I went to Space on my first night as a fresher and I’ve never been back. It’s dreadful.”
However Sociology second year Joseph White said: “I go to Space every time my friends come up from London.
“Who can argue with 70p shots?”
