Murano fresher stabbed on walk home

He is in hospital recovering from a punctured lung


An first year was stabbed on his way home last night. 

The 18-year-old is believed to be a resident of Murano student village.

Police and ambulances were called to Murano street at 12.30 this morning after he was found with horrific injuries.

He was rushed to hospital, where it is reported he is recovering from a punctured lung.

A Police Scotland spokesman said: “At around 12.30am on Wednesday October 28, police received a report of a injured man in Murano Street, Glasgow. The 18-year-old was taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary for treatment. Inquiries are continuing.”
