Feeling cheeky Edinburgh? Nando’s has returned for home delivery from tomorrow

Students across Edinburgh need no longer fear, for the fabled return of Nando’s has finally come.

Fancy a cheeky Nando’s? Well, rejoice! Nando’s in Fountainpark is reopen for delivery from tomorrow, bring on the chicken.

The restaurant chain, that is the physical embodiment of the term ‘cheeky’, like many others across the country, has been closed for almost two months now. However, starting from Wednesday 20th May, Nando’s fans will be able to order their favourite peri-peri chicken from the Deliveroo app straight to their Edinburgh homes.

From trying to impress your mates by ordering your chicken ‘Hot’, to trying to sneak Fanta into your water cup, love it or hate it, there is no denying Nando’s is a student staple. And now just imagine, you can now once again have a Nando’s to cure your ‘post-zoom pub quiz’ hangover. Bliss.

A Nando’s spokesman said: “Edinburgh Fountainpark is due to reopen for delivery tomorrow and will be on Deliveroo.”.

“We are turning on our click and collect service (takeaway) at a number of restaurants this week as a safety test and if that goes well then  Edinburgh should be offering click and collect in the near future as well. We have no plans to stop delivery from any restaurant, click and collect would work in parallel.”

It is currently understood that the Fountainpark restaurant will be the only one to reopen in Edinburgh, but following safety testing, a click and collect service will be available across different restaurants in the near future.
