Flat White at night: Durham’s favourite brunch spot opens for dinner

Dinner date dreams

Durham’s most popular and trendy brunch spot has just opened its doors for evening dinner service. Not only can we now stroll down to FWK for an evening bite, but it can also be served with a glass of wine or a cold beer with their new alcohol license.

With a menu based around sharing there is almost a tapas like feel to the restaurant, you’ll find yourself spoilt for choice with a list of small plates of yumminess.

Some of the best dishes include the ‘Wild Mushrooms in Cream & White Wine on Sourdough Toast’, which keeps to their brunchy bread tradition, and the ‘Spicy Squid Broth with Fennel, Mango, Tomatoes & Rocket’.

A Flat Whitesman told The Tab: “It has always been a dream to open up for dinner and that it was great to see it come to life with lots of students and locals alike popping in over the last couple of months for our evening menu.”

The restaurant keeps to its relaxed daytime vibes yet is transformed with some chilled tunes in the background, candle lit tables and fresh of the press menus to DIE for.

This could definitely be the perfect place for a dinner date or to impress your visiting friends and family.
