Derek comes from a private blogging background and applied his writing skills to other university websites and blogs during his first-year of study. This has led to Derek joining the Tab during his second-year of study and explore different styles of writing.
Derek is a third year student at Durham University where he studies Law. He intends to pursue a career as a media law specialist. Derek also speaks Spanish, Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin) and French to a working proficiency.
