Cardiff Students’ Union has confirmed that Juice club nights have been cancelled
Juice has squeezed it’s last drop
The Saturday club night, Juice, is being cancelled by Cardiff Students’ Union.
Yesterday, Juice Cardiff posted on their Instagram page announcing it won’t be returning for student Saturday nights.
After eight years, Cardiff students will no longer be able to get #LooseAtJuice.
The post did say that it “can’t wait to see what @yplascusu bring out for [its] Saturday shenanigans” implying there may be a new Saturday event instead of Juice.
From freshers to socials to graduation, we have all experienced a Saturday night at the SU dancing with friends in Y Plas surrounded by blow-up pineapples and bright lights, whether you remember it or not.
So say goodbye to the only student Saturday in Cardiff and wonder how we’ll spend our weekends now, discovering new clubs and paying full price.
Although it’s not all bad. Despite the loss of an icon, the SU still has announced its lineup for the second term which includes:
- The return of Yolo Wednesdays
- An end of exams foam party
- Six nation after parties
- Silent discos in Y Plas
