Has the struggle of surviving on your student loan got you living off Lidl bakery and VKs? Well not to worry, because tomorrow Jamie's Italian in Cardiff city centre will be giving away free bowls of pasta in celebration of World Pasta Day.

The restaurant, found in St David's shopping centre, will be giving out free bowls of Cacio e pepe; a dish containing fresh homemade pasta, pecorino cheese, and cracked black pepper.

To claim your free dish, simply walk in and quote 'World Pasta Day' to a member of staff, all other food and drink items will be charged at the usual price.

It has recently been revealed that the Cardiff restaurant will be undergoing a huge makeover in the new year, despite claims that the celebrity chef would be closing down a third of his venues due to fears the franchise would go bust.

However, the event tomorrow promises to draw crowds, so make sure to arrive early to claim your free food, as there are only 100 free dishes up for grabs, and the restaurant will be operating on a first-come first-serve basis.

Nice one Jamie… but we still don't forgive you for the pizza ban.
