Snobs is reopening, but only with sit-down events

How am I gonna dad dance now

| UPDATED

Snobs has announced its reopening plans, but it will look slightly different when it reopens next Friday.

Snobs will be reopening at a reduced capacity from 28 August, with pre-booking required and guests will be required to sit down at tables to follow social distancing measures.

The “fully seated” announcement was made on their social media last night, with the venue going to be open from 9:30pm to 2:30am on Fridays and Saturdays only.

Students must pre-book tickets via Fatsoma at a cost of £5 each and their is a maximum of four to six guests permitted on each table, meaning there will be no walk in entry allowed on the night.

The announcement has been made after government guidelines still encourage people to social distance, hence drinks can be ordered from an app or one person from your group can purchase them from the bar.

Last entry is 11:30pm for guests and you must stay on the floor that you selected when booking the evening.

The nightclub, which is normally home to Big Wednesday, Rebab Friday and Loaded Saturday, promises that the new sit down events will still guarantee it’s guests a great night out.

The nightclub will still host its resident DJs that students are used to and you can pick tunes on the night using #snobsrequest on Twitter.

The venue is urging people not to attend if they are displaying any symptoms of coronavirus.
