Suzie StoneBirmingham has come 130th in the Times Higher Education World Rankings.
We’ve dropped 11 places from our 119th spot last year, but retained our standing as one of the top 150 universities in the world.
The Times ranked over 800 universities worldwide, from 70 different countries, and considered factors such as teaching, research, and international outlook.
The UK was the second best represented country in the rankings, behind the US. We had 78 universities in the top 800, and 34 in the top 200, with Oxford and Cambridge in second and fourth place respectively.
