How I got free pizza… for life

I’m Abi Leach, and I’ve got free pizza for the rest of my life.

Yoko’s is a mysterious place that never fails to deliver an interesting night with the ending always in question. But that one fateful Vodka Tuesday changed my life forever.

This particular night led to the unbelievable, extraordinary and quite frankly the most incredible ending imaginable. Free pizza. For life.

Now, don’t start getting the wrong idea here.  I haven’t sold myself out by offering a little something on the side, I just stumbled into something truly magical.

Clearly my drunken stupor charmed my mystery pizza man, touching his heart in a way no one else has before.

This actually happened

Our eyes met across Yoko’s bar, and before I knew it I was rushed off my feet to dance – leaving my friends to watch in awe.

The best thing to do in these situations is to just go with it.

Twirling, spinning and the occasional slut drop, on his part.  The dancing was in full swing and nothing was going to stop him.

We’ve bonded over our shared love of pizza

A circle soon formed around us as we stole the spotlight, showing Yoko’s how to have a good time.

After the first song a connection had been formed between us.  Maybe it was something spiritual, something deep – or perhaps just the alcohol.

Two songs later he returned me to my friends, leaving a kiss on my hand (like a true gent) and a whisper of promised pizza.

Lights up in Yoko’s reunited me with my mystery pizza man outside.  Here I discovered he works in Hollywood Pizza – one of the best joints in town to fulfil 4am munchies.

I then learnt that the whisper of promised pizza was an offer of free pizza…for the rest of my life.

He must have been able to see my love for pizza in my eyes. I was sold. What more can a girl ask for, right?

My uni life is now complete…with pizza.
