Bierkeller is the union’s best night by far

Bierkeller is the union’s best night by far.  If you haven’t been yet – you are definitely missing out.

The Amazing Bavarian Stompers took over Aber SU and showed them how to get the crowds in.

Steins at the ready, everyone is herded into the union’s main room which is decked out with long tables and wooden benches for all.

Shoulder to shoulder, knee to knee – there are no strangers at the end of Bierkeller.

Franz Udergropper lead the merriments with fellow band members – Yohahn Fatbastard, Otis Spunkmaker and Jurgen Vongrabaknacker – swaying the crowds and wooing the ladies and gents alike.

Katharina Wezel, German International student says, “They said ‘eins, Zwei, super’ but that’s not how you say it, believe me!”

“I actually really enjoyed it!  It was brilliant how stereotyped it was.”

However, Katharina and many others were a little disappointed in the generic selection of beers on offer behind the bar.

“It was a shame they didn’t serve proper German beer though, they should definitely change that for next time!”
