Ranking all the Love Island cast by who came out looking the worst at the Grafties

I really love that Love Island adores the chaos of movie night so much it pretty much just invented a reason to have a second one – enter, the Grafties. The Grafties is basically a faux award ceremony that the public can vote the Islanders to win little awards for that usually are a bit embarrassing or cringe – and it’s a perfect way for the producers to show them all some more clips and expose the goss and drama. The Love Island 2024 Grafties was probably the most explosive episode of the season, and even outdid last year’s where Mitch and Scott fought in terms of drama. But who actually came out the best?

Here’s a ranking of all the Islanders of Love Island 2024, ranked by who came out looking the worst vibes after the chaotic Grafties.

13. Harry and Lola

Bless them. Spared from the drama. Perhaps for the best. Quite an iconic way to be dumped and they took it well, so fair play.

12. Jess

I LOVE Jess. She’s kind of running the villa right now. One of the best Casa girls in recent years, and she’s really helping the Uma drought by being so iconic. She’s actually always on the right side of history and handled every single thing in the Grafties perfecly. I love whenever she demolishes Joey and Sean. Gives me that BUZZ.

11. Josh

You know what, Josh just really takes everything in his side and communicates so maturely and fairly that I can’t help but root for him. Even when Mimii looks bad he never flips. He’s just great. And amazing at leathering the abysmal Joey and Sean.

Love, love, LOVE Ciaran. He was a bit out of pocket when he snapped at Sean to be fair but Sean has been asking for that reaction with his behaviour for a long time even though I’m not sure that was the moment to do it. He absolutely left Joey Essex a quivering wreck after clapping back at him and it was perfection. One of the youngest lads in the villa has a 33 year old fella on strings. Love it.

I want to dislike him for what he put Mimii through but fair play, he was super sweet and respectful at the Love Island Grafties 2024 and I can’t be mad at that. And him and Jess are quite cute. Sigh.

8. Grace

The flirting was woeful but fair play, Grace has come into her own. Love how she handles herself a lot. Quite a cold person but doesn’t mince her words. Rate it. One of the Islanders I’ve done the biggest 180 on over the last month.

7. Reuben

A bit of a shit stirrer but we love him for it, actually.

6. Nicole

I dunno guys. Bad vibes in my opinion. She always seems a bit too serious and a bit too aggy. On the cusp of the joke not being a joke any second. An energy I can’t ever fully get behind.

5. Jessy

Argh. She’s just sort of guilty by association here. We need her free of the Joey shackles because I actually really, really like her. Thank god the preview for tonight’s episode looks like Joey’s time has come and Jessy’s redemption era will begin.

4. Mimii

It brings me nothing but misery to have Mimii ranked so high in this Love Island 2024 Grafties ranking, but I fear our girl really came out lucky last night because every clip that aired of her looked so suspicious and sneaky. The whole terrace debacle. Hilarious and cringe but she did look seductive – have to give it to Joey. What else does sitting on the terrace give? We all know the subtext! Great deflection from Mimii and Ayo, fair play. But it wasn’t the most innocent of nights for our Meems.

The one thing nearly as bad as Sean is someone who is into Sean and willing to defend him. I can’t stand it.

So glad his day has come and he’s fell from his smug perch. Horrible vibes. Truly horrible. And he looked like the pot stirring idiot he is last night. For all to see!

1. Joey

Two Joeys fell yesterday: Biden and Essex. Joey Essex has ruined his career with this Love Island stint, and I don’t say this lightly. It’s just been an absolute mess. I’m unsure if he’s purposely instigating to create what he thinks is good TV, but he has come across completely weird. His treatment of Grace is weird. His shit stirring is weird. I used to think he seemed like such a nice guy, but feel like last night proved once and for all that’s clearly not the case.
