Who will win Love Island 2024, according to all the dumped Islanders
More people want Ayo and Mimii to get back together than Ayo and Jess to win, yikes
We’re getting to that point where we’re seriously considering who will win Love Island 2024. Despite it looking as though most of the couples in the villa actually hate one another, the final is just days away.
So, who knows best about how genuine the connections are and if any of the couples actually do deserve the £50k prize fund and to be named winners? The dumped Islanders who lived with them for weeks, of course!
When they leave the villa, the dumped Islanders are almost always asked who they think can go the distance, and which couples they think are the strongest. Obviously some have been living amongst them for longer, and others who left early on might have backed a couple who have been dumped or already split – but they have the best predictions out of everyone. So here’s who the dumped Islanders of 2024 think will win Love Island this year.
Lolly and Konnor
After they were dumped, Lolly and Konnor had different opinions of who should win the show. Lolly said Matilda and Sean, as “you can tell they are such good friends as well as having that spark and attraction.”
Konnor said he loves Mimii so hopes “her connection with Josh has potential to go the distance so we will have to see.” However, in terms of winning he is backing Ciaran and Nicole or Ayo and Jess as they “have a great connection” and “seem very genuine”.
Hugo, Emma and Blade
Most Read
Hugo, Emma and Blade were all dumped at the same time, alongside Jess. Only the first three were asked who they thought could win, and all of them said Ciaran and Nicole. “I know they’ve been through a lot but it’s all down to the fact they love each other. I could see it was very genuine,” Hugo said.
Uma and Wil
Uma and Wil obviously left together, and they have similar ideas of who will go on to win. Uma is backing Sean and Matilda, and said: “Sean and Matilda are my good friends and their connection is so genuine. I also back Ciaran and Nicole, they have something really special going on, they really do love each other. Both of those couples bounce off each other so well, they really compliment each other.”
Wil added: “Ciaran and Nicole for me. The four of us, with myself and Uma we were all in a similar position. We’ve picked up now from where we left off.”
Ellie and Trey
After leaving together, Ellie and Trey think different couples will win this year. Ellie said Ayo and Jess have “a real genuine connection, the way they both look at each other, the way they speak to each other, they’re so respectful with each other.” She added she is “rooting for them 100 per cent.”
Trey added: “Nicole and Ciaran right now. I think geographically it works and personality wise they’re the same. Even though they argue over trivial things, it just shows how much they love each other. I see something strong and special, they’re a Welsh power couple, I love it! I think they’re going to take on the world after, they’re the Welsh Posh and Becks!”
Ronnie and Harriett
Ronnie and Harriett were dumped a while ago, so we’ll have to give Ronnie the benefit of the doubt that he thought Ayo and Mimii would go on to win. “They’re good together,” he said before they split. I mean, they could get back together so maybe this isn’t a meaningless vote?
Harriett said she is backing Sean and Matilda. “I think they have a genuine connection, Sean’s one of the nicest people I’ve ever met. Same goes for Matilda,” she said. “I think they’ll go very far. Sean and I have a lovely connection, brother and sister vibes, and I was so happy when Matilda came in and was all for him.”
Omar and Tiffany
Omar was also dumped a while ago, so at the time was backing Mimii and Ayo and Ciaran and Nicole. Tiff clearly had it all wrong, as she was backing Grace and Joey to win. Maybe they’ll get back together too, who knows? She did also add: “Nicole and Ciaran are also very sweet and you can see how much Mimii and Ayo are into each other. I hope Sean and Matilda can go the distance, but it’s early days for them.”
Samantha
Sorry! Samantha said her “favourite couple” was Mimii and Ayo. Yikes.
Patsy and Munveer
Despite being dumped right at the start, Patsy and Munveer both backed the same couple – and their guesses still stand. They both said Nicole and Ciaran. “They are made for each other. Nicole is the sweetest person ever and they suit so well, I think they will stick together and make it to the final,” Patsy said.
Munveer added: “Definitely Nicole and Ciaran. When Ciaran talks about Nicole you can tell he gets a little bit flustered and the butterflies start turning. They have a really strong connection but they would be my front runners at the moment.”
Overall, who do the dumped Islanders think will win Love Island 2024?
Nicole and Ciaran: 10 votes
Matilda and Sean: Four votes
Mimii and Ayo: Three votes
Jess and Ayo: Two votes
Grace and Joey: One vote
