Omg, turns out Lauren from MAFS Australia hooked up with a VERY famous DJ ‘for clout’
He flew her to Bali for his show and they’re still mates now
Harrison BrocklehurstThere is so much random Married at First Sight Australia gossip, but this plot twist is one of my favourites yet – turns out 2024 MAFS bride Lauren once hooked up with a really famous DJ and they’re still mates now: none other than Steve Aoki.
It’s not the first time Lauren has rubbed shoulders with music industry stars, she once partied with Snoop Dogg! But this MAFS Australia bit is even juicier, and according to the So Dramatic podcast Lauren literally hooked up with Steve Aoki ‘for clout’ – lol.
“OMG I can’t believe you found out about this,” one of Lauren’s friends told So Dramatic!
“Yes, she did hook up with him when she was about 18, and it was definitely for clout, LOL. But let’s be honest, who wouldn’t?” So true, to be fair.
The friend said Lauren has known Steve for ages. “She was young when they hooked up. It was just a bit of fun,” they explained. “[Lauren and Steve] have stayed pretty good friends since.”
“They hang out every time he’s in Perth or Bali or she’s in America. He also flew her to Bali for his show one time.”

Lauren also posted a recap of the last time she hung out with Steve Aoki on her Instagram pre MAFS, so there’s literally evidence.
“Few weeks ago, flew to Bali to catch up with me old mate @steveaoki after not seeing each other for nearly ten years. For someone completely sober, he sure knows how to turn it on for a crowd. Luckily, I was there to drink all the champagne and throw out some seriously questionable chat.”
