A ‘huge announcement’ and drama: What to expect from Selling Sunset season seven reunion
Jason is hooked up to a lie detector and asked if he’s still in love with Chrishell
We’re getting an extra treat: It’s been announced there is going to be a reunion episode following Selling Sunset season seven! Given all the drama the cast get caught up in, sometimes you wish they’d all just sit in a room and hash it all out, and in short, that’s exactly what we’re getting.
What’s more, Netflix isn’t making us wait months and months to get our fix, as the special episode is just days away. It sounds juicy as hell, and the cast’s outfit pics from the show prove everyone was serving major looks, so here’s everything we know about the Selling Sunset season seven reunion.
The Selling Sunset season seven reunion is hosted by Tan France and airs on Netflix on November 15th
The reunion episode will be hosted by none other than Queer Eye royalty, Tan France. It gets dropped on Netflix on November 15th. Announcing the news, Netflix tweeted: “On November 15th at 6pm PT/9pm ET, get ready for the Selling Sunset Reunion event you WON’T want to miss, hosted by Tan France!”
The cast will all sit down and go through the dramas that happened throughout season seven, and give an update on what has happened in all their lives since.
Chrishell has said there is going to be a ‘huge announcement’
Chrishell has teased that something major is about to get spilled during the extra show. Speaking to People magazine, she said “there is a huge announcement that’s going to be made, so everyone needs to tune in for that.”
She said: “When the season ends, people are left with a lot of questions, and the reunion’s job is to not only answer those questions, but to also pick up where the current state of affairs is. Because sometimes there are months between what we filmed and what you’re seeing. You’re definitely going to get the current state of affairs of every piece of the drama that we dealt with in season seven.”
She added: “I think it’s going to be exciting. I feel like it’s one of those things where everyone’s going to watch it live. With the show dropping all at once, it’s really kind of hard for everyone to talk about things in real-time, so the reunion will be different.”
In a further interview with Entertainment Tonight, Chrishell said the reunion is “heated” and promised it’s a must watch. “It gets heated, and it is going to be kind of a must-watch thing,” she said. “That being said, I also think that we got to a a good place to just try and clean this slate.”
She said despite it getting heated there are also “a lot of really beautiful resolutions. So I’m looking forward to people watching.”
All of the Selling Sunset cast will be at the reunion
The pictures from the reunion have been released, and on top of showing us the outfits were all straight 10/10, they prove every single cast member is present. Sitting down on the sofas with Tan France will be Mary, Romain, Emma, Bre, Chrishell, Jason, Brett, Amanza, Chelsea and Nicole.
The only person who doesn’t look to be in attendance is Cassandra, so unfortunately there won’t be a face-off with Bre. I guess we can’t have it all!
No topic is off-limits
All the dramas from season seven get brought up again during the reunion. Marie-Lou comes back to hash things out with Chrishell, and says “Chrishell was just a topic on camera”, but this doesn’t stop host Tan France straight-up asking Jason if he’s still in love with Chrishell. He can’t hide from the truth either, as he’s hooked up to a lie detector on the show.
In the first look trailer, Chrishell can be seen pointing at Nicole and saying “you started the fire and now we’re in it, so let’s go.” Amanza also calls something a “slap in the face” and is later seen crying.
