Oh my Christ! Uncle Bryn’s real-life house in Barry has been put up for sale

The real-life house, made famous by being Uncle Bryn’s home in Gavin and Stacey, has been put up for sale, for £212,000.

The Barry property was used as a filming location for Uncle Bryn’s house across all seasons of the BBC show.

The former owners, Lisa and Michael Edwards, house moved into the three-bedroom terraced house in 2006 after filming was completed for the first season.

Lisa Edwards recently commented on a Facebook photo of the house and wrote: “Aww our old house! They have lifted the carpets in Uncle Bryn’s! Probably had quite a bi of Lambrini in them!”

The property has been listed on Chris Davies Estate Agents and it reads: “This spacious property is located within easy access of the High Street, rail station, beaches, shops, cafes and bars and is offered with no ongoing chain.”

The listing is asking for offers of £212,000 and was described as: “Used as Uncle Bryn’s house on Gavin and Stacey. No chain – West End location – three bedrooms.”

The house is located in Barry, the location for a lot of filming in Gavin and Stacey. Uncle Bryn’s house is only featured in a few episodes, including when he made Gavin print out the directions back to Essex and when he set up a home gym for him and Smithy to work out in.

And no one can forget the palaver caused at Uncle Bryn’s house on Christmas day.
