Julia Fox apartment tour

Julia Fox did a TikTok tour of her chaotic apartment and it’s major student house vibes

‘We have a small mouse problem, but it’s only a problem depending on how you look at it’

Julia Fox posted an apartment tour on TikTok yesterday, and if you were expecting the usual fayre of ‘Inside Julia Fox’s boujie NYC apartment’, you’re in for a shock. Julia Fox lives modestly – and her apartment tour is an unexpectedly soothing watch. Her chaos and mess comforting, the mid-ness familiar. In the interest of transparency and hoping her doing this makes people feel better about their lives and situations, here’s a look inside the New York City apartment of Julia Fox and her son Valentino.

‘I believe in maximum transparency’

“I never thought in a million years I’d do this, but I do believe in maximum transparency,” Julia says. “I know I’m going to get roasted or whatever, but hopefully someone can watch this and think maybe I’m not doing so bad.”

She sleeps in the living room

Julia has her bed in the living room, which is kind of like when you’re at uni and have a studio but instead of being a student you’re one of the most famous and iconic women on the internet. The room’s comfortably messy, and instead of her bedroom she’s turned it into a little playroom for her son Valentino. Feat a big clothing rail (that she intends to move).

Also in the living room is Julia’s ‘nostalgia mirror’, where she keeps photos of Valentino as a baby and pictures of her friends who’ve passed away – including a necklace with a pendant urn that contains some of a friend’s ashes.

‘This is my little grow stations where nothing is growing because we don’t know what we’re doing’

She’s just like me FOR REAL.

Tiny bathroom with towels everywhere

No I’m literally getting uni flashbacks.

Two kitchens ! (One is a toy)

Julia Fox shows off two kitchens on her apartment tour, although admittedly one is plastic and played with by Valentino. Her actual kitchen features stacked shoeboxes and a cotton candy machine.

‘I put the most effort in here – I really wanted him to have a cute room’

Adorably, Julia Fox has pumped the most money, time and effort into her son’s bedroom – which features a lofty bunkbed that literally everyone would have begged their parents for when they were a kid. It’s so sweet.

She does say he never is in there though, ironically – and he sleeps in bed with her a lot.

‘I don’t like excessive displays of wealth’

And that concludes the apartment tour! Oh, besides the mice. Lol.

Julia concludes the tour saying “Anyway, that’s the whole apartment. For me personally, I don’t like excessive displays of wealth. They make me feel icky, especially people who have really big houses – it’s just really wasteful when there are so many homeless people in this country.

“We do have a little small mouse problem, but it’s a problem depending how you look at it. I appreciate that at night they come and clean up the crumbs my son drops on the floor.”
